South Park Commons (SPC) is a community of technical builders, tinkerers, and domain experts at the -1 to 0 stage of their careers who are exploring new companies and projects. We are rapidly expanding and now support over 1,000 world-class technologists across three locations. To support this growth, we need to build sophisticated, scalable, and innovative tooling and technology.

This role is based in Bangalore on SPC’s growing engineering team.

• Building Next-Generation Infrastructure: We need to surpass existing best-in-class tools for recruiting, workflow management, and communication. This means working with our engineering leader to design systems that integrate deeply with our operations while remaining modular, extensible, and easy to evolve. It involves working with complex data pipelines, implementing event-driven architectures, and ensuring systems are fault-tolerant and horizontally scalable.
• Architecting Collaborative Systems: We are designing distributed systems that facilitate creative collaboration among thousands of technologists globally. This involves building resilient, highly available infrastructure that supports seamless interactions across our community while managing latency, data consistency, and synchronization.
• Automation and AI Integration: We are automating member lifecycle management and leverage AI to drive intelligent member discovery and community connectivity. This requires a designer to build knowledge of AI/ML, including integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), optimizing inference performance, and ensuring data privacy and security for our members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-4+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and an ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AI/ML systems, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience building internal tools or process automation.
